TRAFFIC OBSTRUCTIONS AND LANE CLOSURES
· Parking meters do not need to be plugged on Monday, Sept. 6, in observance of Labor Day.
· The intersection of S. Riverton Ave. and Altamont St. is closed until Sept. 23. Also, S. Riverton Ave. from Cook to Stone streets and Altamont St. from Marshall Ave. to the alley are local access only. The closure is needed to modify the existing Combined Sewer Overflow.
· Nevada St. from Cozza Dr. to Lincoln Rd. will have lane closures and obstructions until Wednesday, Sept. 27, while crews rehabilitate the swales.
· Motorists will encounter closures and obstructions while crews work on the County Sewer Project. Myrtle St. from Fourth to Third avenues remains closed. Additionally, minor disruptions may occur at the northwest corner of Julia St. and Sprague Ave.
· City of Spokane Street Department crews will be:
? Repairing Cedar St. from 12th to 21st avenues; and the intersection of 14th Ave. near Monroe St.
? Maintaining the Maple St. Bridge between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. One lane of traffic will be closed while crews are working.
? Sweeping arterial streets.

WATER WORK FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 6
City water crews have scheduled the following work for the coming week. Street obstructions are possible.

Service Repairs:
· 1001 E. Wellesley Ave.
· 1508 W. Maxwell Ave.
· 2424 S. Grand Blvd.
· 1017 E. 27th Ave.

Hydrant Repair:
· Cedar St. & College Ave.

Valve Repair:
· Ivory St. & 14th Ave.

Construction:
· Northwest Blvd. & Euclid Ave.
· Ninth Ave. & Garfield St.
